We proudly offer flight training, and sightseeing tours from Saugeen Municipal Airport. 

Flight Training:

The Flight Academy is a government approved Flight Training Unit.
See our Courses page for more info.  We specialize in personalized flight training in a relaxed rural environment.

The Airport:

We are based at Ontario's friendliest airport - the Saugeen Municipal Airport, located halfway between Walkerton and Hanover, Ontario.  The airport features two paved runways, lighting and an instrument approach.  The modern terminal building has a restaurant which is open daily, and is famous for its weekend fly-in breakfasts.

The friendly atmosphere, and great airport facilities make the airport a favorite among pilots. It is close enough to Toronto and other major centres, to present a mix of air traffic, yet far enough away to be free of the air traffic control delays which are prevalent at many other airports.

These attributes, along with its airline experienced management and
highly qualified flight instructors make The Flight Academy one of the premier flight training facilities in the world.
